i too have experienced the pain and pt did not help getting tests now hope you found relief
Hi,
Your problem sounds more like a musculoskeletal issue than an issue with the sling. Sling issues this far out are usually related to erosion, in which case you might also be experiencing spoting irregularly or after intercourse. See your urogynecologist, make sure there are no serious gyn type issues or erosion into the vagina, and get a cystoscopy to make sure there is no erosion into the bladder. If the gyn and cystoscopy workups are negative, then get a referral to a qualified pelvic floor physical therapist, who can look for painful muscle trigger points which may be the cause of your pains.

hello,i recently had a sling surgery befrore i had stress incontinence..so i looked forward to this but after having both a complete hysterectomy and the sling i often have a sharp pain in my groin area too. the gyn doctor that started me to going to the bladder man done many test trying to see what if anything was the cause. nothing as far as he's concerned. he said that maybe the sling had bunched up and so oj january3 i have an appointment for the bladder man..i even have problems urinating...having to push down to get started. although i don't have as much wetness i still have more than i thought i would..i wasn't made aware that i would have any pain and am feeling silly when i complain and when examined there seems to be no reason why. i've also had bleeding since and a lot of discharge have been given many antibotics ...i'm really at a loss as to what to do next.maybe the bladder man will find the causes for all this choas.
