Scared need advice

As you all know I do have PCOS. I was put on Aygestin 5mg twice a day on May 7 and took until July 6. I started bleeding/spotting around June 8 but not everyday. Started having terrible pains mostly the left side during that time. Also on June 9th I found a condom that was stuck in me since May 12. Thats when the bleeding/spotting/pains started. June 23 started with going to the bathroom alot. Bleeding/cramping/spotting continued. After I went for my sonogram on July 2, I had alot of bleeding late in the night it felt like a period because I could feel the "gushes" of blood sorry tmi. But that whole day on July 2 I had no bleeding at all, only until like 10pm when it started again. It seems like I only bleed when I get those pains in around my ovary/uterus area.
Ok so I continued to bleed on and off all last week. Went to my doctor on Monday July 9 because I woke up at 3am in horrible pain in my uterus area. My sonogram results showed no polyps, fibriods, tumors or cysts. He did however tell me I most likely have a UTI. So he gave me Keflex 500mg 4 times a day. He said he wants to do an endometrium biopsy to check for cancer. But he can't do that until I stop bleeding. So he said if I don't stop bleeding then he will have me get a D and C.
Do you think it's cancer?
Could it maybe be an infection from the condom or maybe the UTI because I let it go for so long?
I'm still bleeding, not too heavy as before but I do have the pains that come and go throughout the days.

THe D+C would be to help the bleeding stop. Depending on your age and risk factors, excessive bleeding can be related to; lack of regular ovulation, medications, pregnancy, infection in the endometrial lining, or sometimes cancer. the D+C results will help to answer this, and it can also help the bleeding stop. If your ultrasound showed a normal endometrial 'stripe' or lining, the chances of cancer are  much lower.

Thanks for the reply. I hope you can read this one too. I stopped bleeding and havings pains on Friday, everything seems to be normal again. I am 21 years old, never been pregnant, and only started having problems back in March 2007. I have had many sonograms and all have been normal. I have started Yasmin birth control pills last Monday and also have been taking Keflex 3 times a day for my UTI. I also forgot to tell my doctor but I had sex with my boyfriend on May 12 using a condom but it got lost inside me and i didint find it until June 9, thats when all my problems started. I think however i had an infection from that, and now everything after taking the medicine now for a week i feel 100% better.
