groin swelling: Could it be a hernia?

Sorry...On my original entry I meant to ask if there's a significant possibility that it could be a hernia?  I do not have difficulty urinating (no pain when doing so), however being that I am a veteran teacher, I have gotten into the bad habit of waiting to go for longer than I should.  Is this likely a urinary problem, a hernia, or both?

As I mentioned in the post on the physician forum side, I'm going to let the physicians address this, does not sound like POP. One of the  urogynecologists will get back to you shortly.
