labial pain and irritation

Can an antibiotic cause labial pain and irritiation?  And how long does it take to recover from a biopsy of the labia?  I am on a second course of antibiotics (cephalexin this time) after a biopsy and am though the swelling has diminished considerably, I still have swollen and painful labia.  I have not yet got the results of the biopsy, but the gynecologist seems to believe my original vaginitis (burning sensation, which I thought might be an overgrowth of lactobacillis) was due to an allergy.

Not sure I have ever seen an antibiotic cause labial pain/burning. Biopsy pain should be gone by 3 weeks after the procedure.

Look up 'vulvodynia' symptoms, and see if these apply to you.
