pain during "warm up" before sex

hi, i and my gf didn't have sex yet.  during the warm up, when i was rubbing her vagina, without inserting my finger inside, she told me that she experiences lower stomach pain.  is there any health problem with her, or is is because i was rubbing it really fast and hard?  thank you very much and have a nice day.
