sexual problems after urethral sling

I had  urethral sling surgery 7 weeks ago and am having problems with climax during sex. I can barely feel orgasm. Is this normal?
My doctor did NOT mention this possibility.

I am not having any pain in the area, surgery was 8 weeks ago. I have the same partner for 21 years and we are using the same techinques as before. Yes I am able to acheive orgasm with only clitoral stimulation. I am wondering if things inside are not completely healed, with some swelling still that might be interferring. We will keep trying for a few weeks and then I will see my surgeon to check the sling location. Thank you.

I have not heard of this complication associated with sling surgery. You might ask your surgeon to check if the sling is in its expected location. Also, if you are in pain in the area, it can be difficult to reach orgasm. I am assuming that you have the same partner, and use the same sexual techniques as before. Please ensure there is adequate lubrication, and clitoral stimulation. Also, a good test would be to see if you can achieve orgasm with only clitoral stimulation, and whether this orgasm is similar to the  'old fashioned'  ones. If the clitoral stimulation orgasm is adequate, you will need to have the sling position evaluated.
