tramadol and pregnancy

I have taken two 50mg tramadol(ultram) a day for about a year now for sever lower back pain(my pelvic bone shifted in an accident and causes constant trouble). I am now 25 wks pregnant, and since I have found out I dropped the dosage.. now taking one 50mg a day.  My OB knows I take the medication, but the facts I have researched on my own show that this med is in category C.  I just want a second opinion whether or not I should stop the medication all together and just deal with the pain. OTC meds don't even seem to touch my symptoms.  The last thing I want to do is harm my baby.. please help:)! Thank you!!
