Blood in urine & sperm

I am a 46 year old male, moderately good health. Three weeks ago a started to experience lower back pain, pain when urinating, blood in urine and sperm. The feeling of a blockage when urinating has started to ease off but all other symptoms remain.
Three days ago another symptom has started, namely a painful left testicle (at the rear end of the testy) I have noticed a lump in the centre of the pain.
My gut feeling is that this is all related to some sort of infection, and it will sort its self out. I have a doctors appointment set for a weeks time - Should I be taking this more seriously?
Any thoughts gratefully appreciated.
