Elevated PSA levels
My father is 75 and was diagnosed with prostate cancer 4 years ago. His hormone treatment has been ongoing but he has had confirmed spread of the cancer to the bone, hence no surgery. Recently his PSA rseults showed a massive increase to 600+ and a confirmatory test was done that was even higher (700+.), What are the likely implications of such a huge rise in the PSA levels?
