Feeling in Testicular Cancer

Hi there,
I'm 16 and after having a talk at school about testicular cancer I have become slightly concerned about something I may have found. Basically I was just wondering if a tumor can feel. By that I mean when I put pressure on it, it is painful. Does this rule it out as a tumor? I'd just like to put my mind at rest for the upcoming exams!
