I started to get a small numb pain in my right testicle about 3-4 weeks ago. This pain came and went but was most troublesome after long periods of sitting down (car journeys etc.). Initially the pain was localized to this area and I checked my testicle for a lump but could not find one. About 2 nights ago I was driving for a number of hours (approx 200 miles) and began to experience a worse pain that was now radiating to my lower abdomen and right groin (abdomen pain resembles numb pain experienced after holding in your urine for a prolonged period of time) and lower back (although I have had a back injury that has been troubling me lately). When I got out of the car I examined my right testicle and found a linear shaped lump on the bottom part of my testicle. I first believe that this was normal as it was located next to a valve down there. I decided to visit my GP (family doctor) and he confirmed that this was an irregular lump but that it was probably nothing. He prescribed me some anti-inflammatory meds and has booked me in for an HD ultrasound next week to make sure his suspicions are correct.

So everything appeared to be fine until I returned home from my doctor and found a small 1/2" lump directly above my navel (bottom of lump can be felt inside the top of my navel). Now I am beginning to get worried. Could these symptoms suggest anything else other than testicular cancer and could the lump in my abdomen be unrelated to the other symptoms.
