TC Without Lump?

by athleet3, Nov 01, 2007 11:04PM
I'm 45 and a very paranoid person. Within the last week I've had a dull aching feeling in my lower abdomen and testicles. I would describe it as more of an uneasiness than painful. It feels like my testicles are hanging all the way to the ground. I did a self exam and didn't find a lump and I don't think there is swelling. I notice it the most when I sit down.
Is there anything you can tell me to ease my mind? Are these TC symtoms? And can I have TC without a lump?
Thank you....

Dragging sensation on the testes in standing position may be due to certain scrotal conditions like hernia and variecocele. Get physical examination by a urologist to rule out these condition.

About your second question- Yes, it is possible to have small impalpable testicular cancer which may be picked up by tumor markers or ultrasonography.
Usual presentation of testicular cancers is a rapidly progressive painless testicular swelling.
