Acention and discomfort in right testical

by Wayne__0, Sep 06, 1998 12:00AM
My right testical has risen in the scrotum by about half of the left one.
I have done a TSE a couple of time in the past few hours, but have not found any lumps or deformations.
It was mentioned in earlier post that it could be a muscle contraction, but this has been for about 3 days now.
The discomfort has been for some time, since I was 11yrs, but has dulled since the occurance on the accention.
I hope the list of signs and symptoms help.

Dear Wayne,
I don’t have the benefit of an exam but it sounds like the testicle is in the scrotum.  The left testis usually hangs a bit lower than the right.  You are probably normal, but to be sure you could ask your family doctor.  He or she could evaluate the testis and determine if it is retractile(The muscles you were talking about), undescended, or normal which would relieve your concern.  At this time, your family doctor could decide if a referral to a urologist was necessary.

Sincerely,
