Bactrim for UTI?

What would be desired/recommended dosage of Bactrim for a UTI?
Avatar_f_tn
Hi,
Thanks for writing in. Bactrim is useful for treatment of UTI’s with E.coli, klebsiella, proteus etc. The usual dose of bactrim in UTI’s is 1 bactrim DS(double strength) or 2 bactrim tablets every 12 hours for 10 to 14 days.
Best.
