Best way to seek treatment for Pruritus Scroti? (2 year condition)

Hello. I have had a constant nuisance with Pruritus Scroti. I was finally diagnosed with the condition after 2 years of trying various prescription topical creams (Elidel, Pramascone, Steroid Creams, Anti-fungals etc.) and oral medications (Pregabalin, Gabapentin, etc.) Is there any procedure I must have done to confirm my condition? Is there any particular specialist besides a dermatologist who would treat this condition? I have been to several dermatologists and most are clueless of the condition. I have also tried to tweak my diet, eliminating caffeine, dairy, gluten, and processed foods. Any help would be tremendous. Thank you!

*I should also mention that the itch is very constant throughout the day. It is worse when seated or if the area is heated. There is also no rash present. Just some general redness in the area especially if the area is hot.

Have you tried Benadryl gel? I have found it amazingly effective -- stops pruritus scroti within a minute of application. Relief lasts for several hours.
