Bladder removal

In 2000 I had to have my bladder removed due to interstiticial Cystitis, Can a bladder transplant be done?
If not why not?

I have never heard of a bladder transplant, however, often a new bladder can be created from intestine. You might learn more about your specific situation by discussing this with the urologist who did your cystectomy or one who specializes in uologic reconstruction.
