Bleeding

Bleeding

I have a chronic varicose vein bleeding that has caused me to become anemic or at least thats the way I feel . Very little energy, nausea , dizzieness and I fall asleep after eating easily or if I do some exercise to try to get some energy . The bleeding vein is in  the rectum and only bleeds when I defecate and then stops . I feel like I have one foot in the grave . The same thing happened to me a month  or so ago and it healed up.I have ordered some medicine to stop the bleeding that I found on the internet and expect it tomorrow . I have been bleeding for over a week and I feel sick . My question is what can I do to build back my blood supply >

I probably wouldn't advise taking any medicine over the internet with a physician evaluation.

If you are feeling week with little energy, a blood count should be done to ensure you didn't lose too much blood.

As to building back up the blood supply - this would depend on the cause.  If the bleeding is from the rectum, this needs to be stopped.  If there is iron deficiency, this needs to be corrected.  If the bleeding is severe, a blood transfusion can be considered.

All of these options starts with a physician evaluation.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
