I have been running now for many years without any major problems but this week i have had lots of blood in my urine after running and today had to stop 3 times whilst out running to go to toilet and blood was in urine and had sharp pain in penis, once i get home after about 1 hour the blood stops and my urine is a dark yellow for rest of day.....

Cheers for reply.... i meant to say that at mo i live in Spain but due back to UK in 2 weeks time, do you think it will be OK for 2 weeks or get flight back sooner.....

Hi,

The most common cause of the blood in urine along with pain in the penis is the presence of stone/stones in the urinary tract. You should immediately consult a urologist and undergo a detailed evaluation with an ultrasound of the abdomen, intravenous urography/CT scan of kidneys, ureter & bladder to find out the presence and location of the stones.

Meanwhile, drink lots of fluids and take some painkillers.
