Blood in the semen can be caused by infection or a prostate disease (i.e. infection, inflammation, or cancer). Many causes of blood in the semen are
benignBenign ear cyst or tumor
Benign positional vertigo.
The
cystoscopy is a pretty comprehensive test of the lower GI tract. Things like bladder cancer can be safely eliminated in the
faceFace pain of a
normalNormal saline flush test.
You may want to consider a transrectal ultrasound to image the prostate. A mildly boggy prostate is a description of the prostate and can be associated with prostatitis.
