Blood in urine

I recently had my urine checked on a regular check up.  Blood was found in
my urine.  The initial anyalsis was negative, the culture has not come
back.  My right kidney is swollen and has minor discomfort when I need
to urinate.  I have polycystic kidneys and liver.  Recently, I have
used natural cleansing herbs.  My primary care put me on antibiotics
while waiting for culture to return. Can you give me an idea as to what is going on.  I do not have unusual frequency, just a full feeling and swelling in my right kidney before I urinate.
