Burning Bladder

Had constant bladder burining for over 5 months now. Had my urine cultured 3 times all normal, been checked for all stds/stis all negative. wbc was elevated in feb but now is normal. no burning upon urination and ultra sound scan normal. Also had 2 high vaginal swabs whch checked for infections such as vb/thrush etc and all normal. The burining/aching is constant and worrisome. My GP seems to think its anxiety related and funnily enough i don't!!

Hi, I've had the same thing.I have a constant burning feeling like inflammation, but with no infections of any kind. Do you find it gets worse when stressed? I tend to not notice my symptoms as much when I've had a drink weirdly, but the next day the burning comes back.

Thanks for the advice. I've had an internal and they checked for pid ( they also treated me for it 2 as thats what the thought i could have but i know i didn't and the scan showed no cysts. My doctor now thinks it ibs but I have no constipation or diarrhea. He's told me to stop stressing and they have done everything then can and it's nothing

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,
The lower abdominal pain may not be related to the urinary bladder if your cultures have come normal. This pain can be because of pelvic infection, ovarian cysts, endometriosis etc. I would suggest that you consult a gynaecologist for an examination.
Hope this helps.
