Burning Genital/Groin Area.

Hi,
I am experiencing buring in my groin/genital area for a year or so. Mainly the tip of my penis. I have had all STD and blood tests and all came back fine. It usually flares up for a week or 2 after sex. I do suffer from bad anxiety so was wondering if anxiety can cause buring in this area and why sex would aggrevate it? Could this be the cause or could it actually be something else?? ie, Prostatistis or Pudendal Nerve Entrapment.

Pain at the tip of penis esp for such a long time can be due to prostatitis. The typical symptoms of prostatitis are fever, pelvic, testicle, or rectal pain,frequent and painful urination and ejaculation and incomplete emptying of bladder.
Diagnosis can be confirmed only after examination and examination of the prostatic secretions before and after prostatic massage.Pls consult a urologist for that.

Is it common for intercourse to flare up symptoms of prostatitis?
In prostatitis,pain can be typically felt after ejaculation or intercourse.So I would suggest that you get it evaluated from a urologist.
