Since having unprotected sex with my girlfriend x3 nights ago my penis has been burning - at first it was just the skin outside all over my penis but now when I'm seated for long periods of time it feels like a pain inside my penis head as well. It really hurts! Not sting or anything but hurts.
Anyway, there's no visible rash, flaking, inflamation, discharge - nothing! It also burning the inside of my thighs.
She says she gets thrush a lot - could this simply be thrush?
A burning sensation and pain after intercourse can be due to frictional injury during intercourse. It can also be due to fungal infection or thrush since your partner has that. Other than this it can be due to bacterial vaginosis, Chlamydia, gonorrhea, or any other STD. It is important that you and your partner test for STD, thrush and bacterial vaginosis. A confirmed diagnosis is not possible on net. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
