Burning sensation when erect

I'm getting a burning sensation when erect. At first I thought it was a urinary tract infection, because at first the burning sensation started about 2 weeks ago then subsided. It no longer burns while urinating. However, the burning returns when I get an erection. It's quite uncomfortable to hold the erection during sex and often is uncomfortable during ejaculation. I drink a lot of water during the day and hoped this would clear up the symptoms, however, the burning still persist which sometimes contribute to slow and or weak erections. I only have one partner. She and I are both concerned and have tried searching for answers.
