Constant Need To Urinate

I've had this problem for going on 3 months now and it is literally driving me insane.

I have this sensation just below the tip for of my penis inside the tube that goes through it. It feels uncomfortable and as if I need to pass urine all the time. This is a constant problem which is there 24/7 there is no relief what so ever!.

I've had 2 STI tests, 1 dip test, 1 urine test, 1 diabetes test, kidney checks, bladder checks and all have come back negative. I've been to see a urologist and he's given me some antibiotics for a UTI but they are having no effect what so ever.

Do you think this could be cystitis, or some weird STI that they don't test for?

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Your symptoms could be due to UTI, or urinary tract infection. The infection could be at any level from bladder to ureter to kidney. It could also be due to a stone in the urinary tract. A sonography can rule out stone. You also need is a urine culture and sensitivity test done. Another possibility is a polyp or a growth inside the urethra. At times a hair too grows inwards and keeps tickling the urethra causing a need to urinate. A frenulum tag too can cause this type of sensation. If there is a suggestive history then you would need a complete STD panel.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. You can discuss these possibilities with your urologist. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
