Continuing Sore pain in the groin and spreading

Hi

Pain in the testicle started almost one month ago. I started to feel soreness at the tip of my penis and then soreness spread to my left testicle, to left spermatic cord region. Pain was unbearble for a while but it seemed to tamed a bit.When I squeeze  the left side where spermatic cord is located, it really really hurts. I was trying to find where the pain is coming from and squeezed the area and the unbearably sharp pain lasted for hours.
I
went to go see an urologist and already had ultrasound done. He prescribed with doxycycline and ibuprofin. They did not help with my symptoms. Ultrasound came out normal and urologist told me there is nothing wrong.

I feel soreness in the spermatic cord region, to groin to my left leg now to my lower abdomen and my pelvic area.
Pain is worst went I sit especailly driving. Although i feel better when i'm lying down but I still feel soreness.

I dont know what to do or what is wrong. My doctor is referring me to neurologist and planning to make an appt soon. This has been quite depressing since i can't seem to lead a normal life.
Could there be any other causes and can ultrasound accurately dectect all urology problem?
Since the pain started in the spermatic cord region, I feel that the cause of my pain is in that area. Do you have any suggestions? What can I expect from a neurologist?
