Delayed Puberty? URGENT

by Phil__0, Oct 07, 1998 12:00AM

I am 14 yrs old and I am a male.   A little over 2 weeks ago i had a wet dream.   I had another about a week ago.   This came as great relief as I have been waiting for a while.   The problem is, is that when I masturbate nothing has changed since the wet dreams.    I have been masturbating for well over 1 1/2 and when I think I ejaculate urine comes out.  This has happened every time!   Recently, within the past 6 mos.  my penis has grown rapidly.   It is now about 5 1/2 inches while erect.   I have alot of pubic hair and every thing would seem to be as normal except that I cant ejaculate.   Before my first wet dream i thought i could be impotant but now I dont know what is wrong.
  PLEASE RESPOND!! URGENT

Dear Phil,
You seem to be having normal male development.  During puberty this kind of experience is not out of place.  However, if you really think that you are passing urine during ejaculation, a urological consultation may be quite in order.
Urologist will perform a physical examination and may order a semen examination.  Further evaluation will depend on the findings of the semen test.
