Delayed Puberty important question

I am a 17 year old male that suffers from delayed puberty. I currently think that i am in tanner stage 3 going into 4 (Ive been doing some research) I have some curly pubic hair that does not extend to the thighs yet. I currently stand at about 5ft 3in and I have noticed some armpit hair developing and my mustache is starting to become more noticeable. I entered the summer last year standing at about 4ft  something and then my father put me on testosterone injections and I hit one big growth spurt over one Summer! People were amazed to see me back at school since I grew so much in so little time but I was still way smaller than normal. I dont know if I was supposed to grow normally that summer or if the injections really helped but I know now that I am growing but very slowly. Is it possible to hit more growth spurts after your first big one? I just found out that delayed puberty runs in the family. My father also says that he is going to put me on hormone injections this summer. Do you think this is a good idea? I personally am doubtful about this because I do see that I am developing but way slower than most people. I do think that I will grow alot this summer without these injections but what if I dont? This has me really stressed out so please help me!!!!!
