Diagnosed with Epididimal Cyst

I was diagnosed with an epididimal cyst on my left testical about 1.5 years ago. I now notice that the amount of sperm prodoced at ejaculation has reduced a lot. Is it possible that my left testical is no longer functioning...? Is it possible that the tubes through which the sperm passes are blocked up permanently.? I have also noticed that my organisms are not as intense or enjoyable as they used to be.

It is less likely that your symptoms are due to the cyst.  To determine if the amount of sperm has decreased, you may want to consider undergoing a semen analysis. The standard semen analysis consists of the following:

* Measurement of semen volume and pH
* Microscopy for debris and agglutination
* Assessment of sperm concentration, motility, and morphology
* Sperm leukocyte count
* Search for immature germ cells.

This test would determine if the sperm count is normal or not.  Regarding the orgasms, you may want to consider a neurology evaluation to see if there are any nerve disorders that may cause this symptom.  A scrotal ultrasound can also determine if there are any further anatomical abnormalities.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
