Discharge and burning

Hello. Ive got a white watery discharge which ive had for about 4 years. I also have burning after urination which gets worse if ive had to hold it in for a while and also after sex i can get vaginal burning without evan going to the toilet. Ive had the discharge and the burning after urination before i had evan had sex. I have been to the doctors about four time over the years and each time have had vaginal swabs urine samples and also a cervical swab which have all came back clear. I was told i had a swollen cervix  and was given antibiotics to take the swelling down although im not sure if it has or not because that was the last time i went to the doctors. I still have the above symtoms. What could it be as im not getting anywhere with my doctors because all my urine samples and swabs keep comeing back clear. Please help.

Doctor missed it by collecting a poor quality sample. You have the Clap! Get antibiotics fast.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in. Watery discharge, burning and urgency all relate to infection. Infection could be either routine UTI or STD. As, you already have undergone tests, it would be better to evaluate causes for inflammation without infection. A cystoscopy can help rule out conditions like interstitial cystitis and cystitis glandularis.
Also, an STD panel would help reveal infections if any. Discuss with your OB/GYN for further assistance.
