Discolored

I am a male, 20 years of age, uncircumcised, and ever since I was a young, I have these discolored marks on my penis. they are not sores, or bumps, they are just darks spots. some range from mole size dots, to a larger mark, that are on the head of the penis and underneath the head on the underside going partially down the shaft. I know as a male goes through puberty the skin on the penis and scrotum darkens, I was just wondering is that what this is from? or could it be my birth mark? It has never spread or changed. Thanks.

If the marks and discoloration has not changed in size or appearance since childhood, it is likely that what you have is a birthmark or mole.
No intervention is required if the moles are not raised or do not have hair growing from them. If they do, it is best to have it evaluated by a dermatologist who can decide whether they could become malignant in the future.
If you notice any alteration, such as rapid growth or spread, you should consult a dermatologist ASAP.
