Discomfort during Ejaculatiom

For the last couple of years I have had a slight pain or discomfort in my urethra while ejaculating. This happens occasionaly and at times, my semen is a bit clumpy. I am 38 years old, I have had Chlamydia tests done and they are always negative. I have also done urine analysis and the results are normal as well.  I masturbate usually everyday.  I am worried that it could be something serious!?

Infection needs to be ruled out - I agree with the Chlamydia tests.  Urethral swabs and urine tests can be done as an initial test.  

The prostate should also be evaluated.  A digital rectal exam and prostatic massage can also be done, with any prostatic fluid being sent for culture and analysis.  A transrectal ultrasound can also be done to rule out an abscess.  

If infection has been ruled out, a cystoscopy can be done to rule out anatomical causes - like a urethral stricture or polyp.
