Rectal cancer, x-ray exam for prostate and that was fine also. I have no discharge, only lightly painful urination, no skin rashes, no discoloration and no painful ejaculation. My doctor did prescribe Levaquin. He also prescribed Pyridium which only seemed to aggrevate the situation. The pain is not unbearable, but more nusciance than anything. Some lower back discomfort and the sensation of needing to urinate more frequently.
I am 40 and in good health and have never experienced anything like this before. I drink plenty of water, no sodas, some coffee in the morning and maybe tea for lunch. Other than that, no hard liquor but occasional red wine. I am due to go back to my doctor to review all of the urine testing and lab results since I also tested for HIV. Is there something he may have missed or should ask him directly to test for?
Also, what are the dangers of anal sex and what types of STD's or other forms of bacteria may be of concern. After only having done this one time I would hate to have contracted something that would have permanent long term effects. My girlfriend is clean of any STD's and HIV, but know and understand the colon is full of bacteria and parasites. I can pretty much attribute this condition as a result of having anal sex, since I have never had it until now. I will feel much better when I narrow this down to the root of the problem and be able to address it with the proper medical care. Please help.
