My bladder feels like it is about to explode, however I do not have to urinate. I go to the restroom regularly throughout the day with no pain however there is a reduction in flow. I went to my doctor today, but they put me off for three weeks for an exam by the physcian. A UA was done with no indication of infection. I have difficulty standing upright without discomfort. I am thinking this may be related to my prostate.
Thanks for writing in.An enlarged prostrate or an inflammed prostrate can cause urgency, frequency, incomplete voiding, dribbling of urine, obstructive symptoms etc.
In your case there is a combination of symptoms of enlarged prostrate and neural damage, but this should be confirmed with physical examination of the prostrate and other diagnostic tests like voiding cystourethrogram, measuring residual volume in the bladder, checking the functioning capacity of the sphincter etc.
Difficulty in standing upright could be due any muscle sprain or arthritis or any trauma to the bone. I would suggest that you take an opinion of a urologist and orthopaedician .
