Diagnostic tests that may be performed include UrinalysisUrinalysis, Urine culture, X-rays of the kidneys, Cystoscopy, IVP, Abdominal ultrasound and CT scan of the abdomen. Pls consult a urologist for this as treatment is diagnosis specific.Till then pls take adequate amounts of fluids.
Increased frequency in urination and pain in the groins and abdomen can be due to urinary tract infection.The other possibilities are of Chlamydia infection and kidney causes like glomerulonephritis.
