ED or, rather, am I screwed?

Hello, I'm in my early 30's and exercise frequently (I run 3-5 miles 3-4 times a week).  My last physical six months back came out fine.  Unfortunately, over the last month or so I've been unable to maintain or achieve an erection while being intimate.  I have, however, been able to achieve and maintain an erection while masturbating.  While I have been under a great deal of stress I have also been (embarrassingly enough) masturbating at a greater frequency than in the past and am wondering if my current ED is simply my body saying to 'give a rest' (for a while anyway).  I notice that my morning erections begin to return when I stop 'tending to my own business' for a couple of days as well.   A cursory gleaning on the internet (I know, never a good idea) suggests that too much self-stimulation can, at times, cause ED so any help would be greatly appreciated.  Cheers.

Best,
G. Stanza

Thanks a bunch Dr. Singh.  My rational side tells me that this is primarily due to over-stimulation (wow.  that's ridiculous to admit but oh well) though the irrational side has made me panic a bit.  The advent of internet pornography coupled with the real threat of disease and whatnot has really made sex an often neurotic affair in these modern times.

Hopefully, with your suggestions along with some judicious self-control will put me back in the swing of things (no pun intended).  Thank you again.

Best,
GS

Hello,
The erectile dysfunction that you are having can be due to excessive stimulation of genitalia during masturbation, stress and anxiety, poor communication with your partner, unrealistic sexual expectations, which make sex a task rather than a pleasure ,negative feelings about non performance and lack of circulation.

Avoid masturbation for some days and eat a healthy diet and some vitamin B 12 supplements. If the symptoms persist then please consult a urologist.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted. Warm regards.
