Ejacualation headache

  My future husband has had migranes (migraines) for 20+ years, however
  recently he has experience sudden, severe pounding head/temple
  pain immediately prior to and/or upon ejaculation. He did have
  an overall physical (blood work, prostrate check) and an MRI of
  the head. The only things they showed were high colestrol level
  (251), scare tissue in the sinus cavities and a pre-existing
  mitral valve prolapse that we were aware of.  He is currently
  taking Inderal 60mg daily (was at 80mg) and has been experiencing
  problems maintaining an errection. Please advise what to check
  next. I am somewhat concerned about a blockage in the neck area.
  The Doctor had suspected an anurysm but nothing showed up on the
  MRI. THank you for any suggestions you can offer. We need this
  info soon as he is about to make a job change and insurance could be
  a big problem for a pre-existing condition. Thanks...

The act of ejaculation is a complex series of events . During this event there exists a massive surge of outflow of nerve signals from what is referred to as the autonomic nervous system.  During this surge the nerve signals lead to a mobilization of many processes, one of which is potential effect on constriction of blood vessels.
