Ejaculation Problem?

by richjuke, Oct 10, 2008 07:17PM
I am 47 y/o male , healthy, sexually active. For the last 4-6 years when I ejaculate it just oozes out usually, once in awhile the initial squirt will go a few inches but it used to go at least a foot or two. Is it a normal part of aging or is there something wrong? Should I see a urologist?

Hi

Are you having decreased volume or decreased force of ejaculation or both.? The usual seminal volumes are more than 2ml.

A decreased force/volume of ejaculation could be due to obstruction along the male genital tract (ejaculatory ducts, vas deferens, or epididymis) or conditions leading to retrograde ejaculation such as prostate problems.

You should consult a urologist for your condition; he might order investigations such as semen analysis, radiological studies etc to find out the cause.

Take care,
Regards
