Sexual intercourse - painful. What treatment is most appropriate, and how would you recommend that a couple who is trying to have children deal with this?
-----------------------------------------------------------
Dear Gracie,
Your partner’s problems lie in the emotional realm. I would recommend that you not proceed further (i.e., marriage) if children are truly important to you until your partner receives emotional help such that he resolves his personal issues. There may be more at stake than just the symptom that you describe.
Best of luck!
