Enlarged bladder or normal?

I have always peed very large amounts upon waking, and my wife has commented on how long I seem to go on. I decided to measure it and it turns out it typically is as high as 1500 ml and occasionally even higher. When I looked up information on bladder capacity it seems mine far exceeds the norm. I don't have any other urinary symptoms -- no unusual urgency, frequency, pain, or incontinence. I am a 50 year old male. Should I be concerned?

There can be variation in bladder capacity.
I would check blood tests to evaluate the kidney function and sugar level and send the urine off for a urinalysis to ensure there is no sugar in the urine nor infection. These causes can lead to a change in urinary symptoms.
However, if the tests come back negative, you can consider monitoring the situation to see if any new symptoms arise.
