Hi
A spermatoceleScrotal masses Spermatocele typically refers to a benign cystic accumulation of sperm that arises from the head of the epididymis. They have been known to occur in a lot of locations ranging from within the testicle to along the course of vas deferens.
Are you having any symptoms such as pain or discomfort?
The main indications for treatment are when the swellings are large enough to be noticeable or if there is pain or discomfort. Most doctors advise patients to seek medical advice if epididymal cysts become painful or suddenly start increasing in size.
Treatment can be surgical removal of the cysts (which carries the risk of infertility, bleeding, infection etc) or aspiration of the cyst which has a high incidence of recurrence.
Take care and write in if you need more information.
