Epididymitis

Hi, i'm 19 years old. I'm having my right testis pain from 8 days. Well, my perspective does not coincide with the posts in the page. I have,
random pain
frequent urination
fever
more pain at walks

but no swelling and scars. I've not involved in sex and i'm sure i don't have STD's. I'm having medications from 3 days and the doctor asked me to do a checkup.
Could i know how long would it take to heal if it's acute epididymitis um.... I would like to know wether it would prevent me fathering (please don't mis understand, i have issues @ home cuz my left testis has also been removed when i was 14)

Please help, Thank you !

10 days ago i had the surgery for the issue. It was an Orchiopexy done for inguinal hernia repair, and now i'm recovering.  Thank you for the interest !

um ....... I'm not the patients' mother, something has gone wrong with the profile.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Testicular pain can be due to injury, infection (Epididymitis or Orchitis) or inflammation, testicular torsion -- most common in young men between 10 and 20 years old, excessive bicycle riding, varicocele, hernia or kidney or ureteric stones. Considering your son’s symptoms epididymitis or orchitis need to be ruled out. Get an evaluation done from a urologist to confirm the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
