Erectile Dysfunction

by Sideburns, Feb 29, 2008 12:03PM
Last November, I was getting intimate with a girl.  She twisted my penis, and I think might have pulled my muscle.  Is that possible?  Later that night I was unable to achieve erection and as you can imagine, it was extremely embarrassing.  Anyway, since then I have been unable to achieve a full erection.  I was wondering if it was because of that situation, or other factors -- alcohol consumption, occasional use of somatomax (growth hormone booster), masturbation...  I feel like my penis has shrunk, but it probably hasn't.  It's most likely that it's just not filling completely with blood like it used to.  Any erection I do get is not hard enough, and does not last long.

I'd also like to know if this is reversible.  Help!

Hi,

If you do experience loss of erection in almost 100% of the time then you may need further evaluation. It is possible that you may have injured something .

Are there any associated deformity of the penis, any pain in the area, any discolorations?

Do you experience any pain or discomfort in urination?

Any changes in the scrotal area ?

Erectile dysfunction may be physical or psychological. Taking supplements , smoking and alcohol consumption may contribute to your symptoms however, you had a history of possible injury. This has to be looked into first.

I suggest that you consult with your urologist for a complete physical examination. A penile ultrasound may be able to help.
