Extremely Bad odour from Groin

Hi, Not sure if right area to post, but i do need help. The smell is really reducing my ability to socialize. The smell i can smell it, and other people around me do get uncomfortable, and quite quickly.

I am 18yrs old. Showering does not help reduce the smell, sometimes masturbate, but still a virgin, so no STD related problem. After a while say a 10-20mins after wearing clothes, i can start to smell it, my underwear gets a bit more moist.
I have trimmed hair in groin area, and still no smell reduction.

I have tried deodorants down there, doesn;t help either.  I am fat, 25-30% BF, i have starting taking multivitams, to see if it could be related to vitamin deficiency, but not to any avail.

Also i have been experiencing come blood discharge from anus, i noticed it on my underwear, it happens randomly.

Please help, It is really hurting me trying to be social.

Thanks

Hi,

An increase in sweating and fungal infections can be correlated to the presence of underlying systemic conditions, such as diabetes, problems of the thyroid gland, or to certain medications.

Further evaluation by a dermatologist will be required to confirm the presence of any fungal infection and the possible causes of the condition.

Treatment of a fungal infection can be done with antifungal ointments, such as Canesten. Application of the ointment is usually done after cleansing the area gently and allowing the area to dry completely before application.

Additionally, talcs and aluminium chloride solutions can be effective in reducing sweating.

Rectal bleeding or blood with feces can have several local causes or could be signs o chronic systemic inflammatory conditions or those targeting the GI tract.

You will need to consult your GP for a further evaluation of your symptoms.

Do keep us posted.
Regards

Odour has been present for approximately 3years, the bloody discharge couple of months ago, happens randomly.

"Have you noticed any correlation between the discharge and any other activity, such as defecation? "
I am not sure you mean with this question, but the discharge, this is some faeces mixed with the blood when i wipe it.

The smell, i believe originates from around the scrotum and surrounding areas, i do not believe it originates from the anus.

Also that for the last year or two i have been sweating alot, like if i am holding a mobile phone for say 3-5mins without moving, i do notice alot of sweat on the phone, could that somehow be related?

It is a fungal infection, what is the most efficient and effective way to deal with it? Thanks for advice, i will try and maintain water intake and vitamin C.

What other information would help to remove this problem?, Please what else can i do to remove this problem?

Regards

Hi,

Bloody discharge from the anus is a serious sign and needs medical attention. You will need to make an appointment with your GP if you have not consulted him/her already.

Bloody discharge from the anus can be due to hemorrhoids, or other long-standing GIT infections.

How long since the odor and the discharge started?
Have you noticed any correlation between the discharge and any other activity, such as defecation?

Also, does the smell emanate from your penis or the scrotum, or from the anal region?

Fungal infections can cause moistness and unpleasant from areas that are prone to sweating.

Increase your intake of fluid and vitamin C and post a few more details with relation to your condition.
Regards.
