I am a relatively healthy 27 year old male. Married/monogamous. I do have HPV, however.
My area of concern is odor (slightly fish-like) coming from my penis. This seems more prevalent during the afternoon. (i.e. it goes away for a while when I shower). There are no other symptoms whatsoever (no discharge, urination problems, etc.). I have been tested clean for all other STDs. I am circumcised.
Research on my own seems to indicate that it could be a yeast infection, for which I applied Lamisil for a week - this alleviated the smell somewhat but it's persisted after a couple weeks.
If there are any clues as to what it could be, and if there's a way to treat it with OTC meds, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise I guess it's a trip to the GP/urologist for me. Thanks!

Yeast can be considered, and be evaluated with a dermatologist. Normally, antifungal creams can be considered if this is the case. Keeping the area clean and dry would help prevent future occurances.
STDs have been ruled out - presumably with urine tests and urethral swabs.
You can consider prostatitis, which can be evaluated with a digital rectal exam as well as a prostatic massage.
These options can be discussed with your urologist or personal physician.
Followup with your personal physician is essential.
