Followup question for internal penis pain

This is a follow up of the following question:

http://www.medhelp.org/forums/urology/messages/31855.html

Recap: burning/stinging in the inside of the shaft of the penis during flaccid state, which comes and goes, and "bursting" pain during erect states, caused possibly by over ejaculation (4-5 in one hour). This has been going on for about a year.

However I have additional information that I think might narrow down a possible diagnoses, as I would like as accurate a medical opinion on this before I see my GP. I noticed that whenever the pain occured during a flaccid state, the sides of the penis shaft were very hard, almost as hard as in an erect state, they did not give like a soft sponge like normal. By massaging these hardened parts the pressure seemed to go away and the pain also largely receded. Now that I noticed it the penis even when flaccid, does look sort of in an almost somewhat erect state, although this could be purely bad memory, but mabye not. However what is definite is that in the flaccid state, the organ seemed a whole lot less flexible than before when I had no problems. Whenever it was bent, even slightly, I would experience a very bad burst of pain, and residual pain for many hours afterwards. I know this is not normal because I never had this experience before in my life and have done nothing different physically recently.

Can this information help narrow down a possible diagnosis?

A quick other question: since the massaging helps relieve the pain, I have been doing that a lot. Occasionly a feel a weird numb twinge resulting from finger pressure. Could this massaging be damaging the nerves and should I stop completely? Or is it just a minor coincidence that I can ignore.

Thanks again

It would be difficult to say without evaluation.

If there is evidence of any hard plaques, one can consider Peyronie's disease - which is characterized by a plaque or lump on the penis.  This can be evaluated with an ultrasound.  Treatment can be considered with injectable medications, radiation therapy, or surgical therapy.

This option can be discussed with your urologist.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
