Foul Smelling Urine

My embarrassing symptons started several weeks ago when I noticed that when I would urinate I had what started off to be just a funny smell but has now escalated into a very foul embarrasing ordor. I  thought at first that the smell would go away after douching but this has had little if no effect on the problem. While I had no pain or discomfort when urinating, I did notice that at times my urine was usually a light color in the moring (sometimes almost clear) and then closer to the evening it was almost a orange color as if it could be bloody.  I  also noticed a white sustance in the urine sort of like pus. After the ordor kept getting stronger I finally gave in and went to see my Gynecologist last week who told me after taking a urine sample that she was seeing white blood cells in my urine and was sending it off to the lab to be tested.  She also did blood work.  Now I'm very concerned about what is happening.  Any suggestions of what might be going on. Please Help

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

Has your physician given you any medications ?

Aside from WBC in the urine, were there bacteria noted? WBC in the urine may indicate an ongoing infection. A urine culture will be able to help guide treatment.Urinary tract infections may not necessarily present with symptoms. You may ask your physician if you need any medications as empiric therapy while waiting for the urine results.

Drink lots of fluids and set a regular exercise schedule everyday.

Do keep us posted regarding your physician's advice.

I had the same thing.....it was a UTI. I described my urine as an egg/sulfur smell. It was very gross.
I would recommend an antibiotic other than CIPROFLAXACIN
lots of ****** side effects to that!
