Frequent Urination - 24hrs a day - I Tried Everything- Please Help

For the past two weeks I have Frequent Urination - 24hrs a day - Exactly every Two hours. After masturbation its even more frequent. My stream is strong. I have trouble starting urinating at night but not during the day. But once I start urinating the stream is very strong, and I urinate alot. Even though at night I dont seem to empty my bladder that well.

This all comes EIGHT WEEKS after I had the Microwave treatment.(http://www.thermatrx.com) for the same problem.

I see the urologist every two weeks. He gave me CIPRO (100mg) which just makes me urinate even more and gives me a stomach ache. Two weeks ago Urologist told I have prostatis (Without doing any rectal exam) I have had mutiple Blood tests,(PSA levels normal) countless Urine tests, urine stream tests, and utlrasound tests of the kindney and prostate. All were fine.

I had a Cystoscopy (Eight Weeks ago). Which showed a small prostrate but a blockage. Thats why I had the microwave procedure. I seemed better a few weeks after the microwave procedure.

But all the symptoms have now returned. The Doctor said I was supposed to better 8 weeks after the microwave treeatment. Not worse or the same.

I also now have a terrible itch. It starts at the base of the anus (Where doctors give injections) and goes up my back.

The medications he gave me (FOLMAX, UROXATRAL, DESMOPRESSIN, CIPRO) Do NOT help me at all.

Question # 1- Should I ask for another Cystoscopy?

Question # 2- Should I request another type of medication.

Question # 3- DO you think this itching is related to the
Microwave procedure. I asked a deramtoligist and the uroligist.
They didnt think so. There is NO Rash or Redness regarding the itching.

Qustion 4- Should I continue with the Cipro , even though it seems not to help.

Question 5- Do you think I may need an operation on prostrate.

To answer your questions:
1) Repeating a cystoscopy can be considered to rule out any further anatomical blockage or stricture.

2) I can't comment on that without further evaluation.

3) It is possible.  However, continuing to rule out infection, dermatitis, or a superficial fungal infection should be done.  A skin biopsy can be considered if the symptoms continue.

4) There are times where prostatitis requires 4-12 weeks of antibiotic therapy.  Continuing the Cipro therapy would not be unreasonable.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
