Frequent peeing, but urine sample is healthy

by rorylando45, Sep 19, 2009 06:44PM
Hi everybody. I am a 19 year old male. I have no history of medical problems, I am healthy and relatively fit. However in the last couple of months or so, I have noticed that I have been needing to pee more and more frequently.

Recently I have even been waking up multiple times in the night needing to go. Also, sometimes I feel like I need to go, but when I get to the toilet hardly anything comes out. Then there are some days when I don't really need to go particularly often.

It doesn't burn or hurt when I pee, and there is no blood or anything visible. The only difference is the patterns.

I went to the doctor earlier in the week and explained my symptoms to him, and he said it would be best to take a urine sample and see what that produces. I went back for the results yesterday and he said my sample was completely healthy, nothing unusual in it at all. He said if the symptoms persisted, that I should come back in a couple of weeks and he would refer me to a specialist.

Maybe this is all in my head and I'm just thinking that I need to go?
