Frequent urination and dull lower back ache?

Hi,

I'm 27 years old and about 4 weeks ago, I broke up with my wife.

Ever since the break up, I was an emotional mess. I'd stay up late, have trouble sleeping, worry so much about what's ahead, have lost my appetite at times, and felt unsure of what to do anymore.

Then about a week ago, I noticed white penile discharge which only shows up after a couple of hours of sleep. After about 2-3 days it stopped. But then I noticed that I have been urinating more frequently (Like 2-3 times in an hour or two). When I check my penis, I can sometimes see as if the urine's about to go out. It's not sticky or anything, and its clear. I also noticed a dull ache on my lower back (on the right). The dull ache doesn't really bother me  that much. Although I do feel the the back pain when I wake up.

I haven't had any sexual partners other than my wife for the past 2 years. And the last time we did have sex with my wife was about a week before we broke up. So I don't really know if this is a case of STD as I don't have any other symptoms aside from the white discharge that has already disappeared.

I have an appointment in the next two days but would like to hear everyone's thoughts about this.

Thanks

Hi there - I'm not a man, so I'm not certain how symptoms would manifest for you, but your experience mirrors the symptoms I've had when I got a urinary tract infection followed by a kidney infection.  The dull ache could be pain from the kidney infection.  My UTI symptoms disappeared (frequent urination, white discharge) when the infection settled in my kidney.  Kidney infections can be serious - I was hospitalized last time.  So, if you can get to a quick clinic and give a urine sample ASAP, that would be best.
